Click on image for a full sized picture. Steve Prescott is the Sharks Full Back, wearing the number 1 shirt. He joined the team from St Helens in December 1997. His first game for Hull was against Sheffield Eagles in April 1998. His solid defence, intelligent play and skilful goal-kicking has made him a big favourite of the Junior Sharks. Born in St Helens on the 26th of December 1973, it appears his mum's biggest Christmas parcel arrived a full day late! Steve has quite a few honours to his name including two England caps, two Great Britain Under 21s caps, 1996 Super League Winner and Challenge Cup winner in 1995 and 1996. |
